EXIF Date Changer - Exchangeable Image File (EXIF) data is stored within JPEG images. Almost all digital cameras record and store the cameras settings, scene information, date/time the photo was taken etc within this EXIF data. This information can be really useful when it comes to sorting and viewing your digital photos, providing you keep the date and time settings of your camera up to date. While traveling this rarely happens, making the date/time values useless.
EXIF Date Changer modifies the date and time attributes of the EXIF data in your digital photos. This allows you to compensate for incorrect camera settings, or different time zones within seconds. As an added bonus you are also able to rename all photos to include the time taken in the filename, making it even easier to sort and view your photos.

 Date Calculation
I found the program a little difficult to accurately calculate the elapsed time necessary to have the date changed as I desired. Usually it took several tries which was cumbersome due to having to delete the "Output" file in which the new images were placed. It would be nice if it had a way to "test" the answer before actually making the change. Alternatively, give it the original time shown on an image, then the time you wish it to read, and let the program calculate the differential to use.

Thanks for your feedback. I completely agree with it taking several tries to get the correct time. I will look at adding in an option to select a file and set the date/time and then have the program work out the difference.

Quite good but...
It really did the trick. I had to sort around 800 pictures from the same trip, taken with three different cameras, by photo time. And camera clocks differed around an hour each, and no one had the correct time. The EXIF DC 1.1 program made it quite easy for me to batch solve this problem, most of the pictures was correctly set after running the program. But... there were often some pictures that got a time AND DATE CHANGE! that didn't match the mission requested. The problem appeard over and over again so I had to fix the EXIF misstakes "by hand". Though I'm glad I found this program I can't give it at better grade than 3 out of 5.

I'm glad I found this little program. It really helped me organize and correct the dates and times on my photos and worked perfectly. Thank you.
